Anchorage Arise!

by Chad Taylor

"Shake yourself from the dust; ARISE, and sit down, O Jerusalem!  Loose yourself from the bonds of your neck, O captive daughter of Zion!"  (Isaiah 52:2).

I saw as it were like a Phoenix rising from the ashes of defeat and destruction.  With awesome glory and splendor it rose and lit up the East, West, North, and South.   It was a great city on a hill that could not be hid.  And I heard the voice of the Lord say,

'Anchorage Arise!  Shake off the dust of apathy and religion and shine!  The bonds and chains that have held you captive are breaking away!  A new liberty do I declare to you this day!  A new freedom.  They will see it from afar and come.  The nations of the world will be your inheritance, the uttermost parts of the earth your possession.

A day of visitation has come.  A time of harvest and increase.  A time of reaping and revival.  You will see My river flow as a torrent in your streets.  The blind and the lame will see and leap!  The orphan and widow will be set free!  I will tear down the walls tempered with untempered mortar that hold My people in bondage.  Races and faces shall flow together and embrace, some for the first time.  I will bridge the gap between two generations.  I will sanctify your congregation, young and old will flow together.

Your fields are white.  The harvest is great.  Look not to the left or the right, lift up your eyes! You will see the desolation of many generations arise.  You will be a repairer of the breach.  Prepare your hearts!  Revival now will break out in your streets, the hiways and the biways will resound with sounds of singing.  Prepare your altars, let not the flames die down, prepare your hearts, for the time to reap is upon you.

I have heard the cries of your children Alaska.  This is your hour to launch out into the deep and to take in a great catch.  I have heard the cries of the children and they will not be denied.  Anchorage!  Arise! Arise! Arise!  Your hour of visitation has arrived.  Your redemption draws nigh.  You will shine.  Like a phoenix from the ashes, you will shine.

"Your watchmen shall lift up their voices, with their voices they shall sing together, for they shall see eye to eye when the Lord brings back Zion."  (Isaiah 52:8).

A great voice of intercession shall be heard from your shores.  Great voices of prayer will join Heaven for the nations.  From you shores will be heard the cry for nations, "RUSSIA!".  "AFRICA!".  "CHINA!".  "CANADA!".  "AUSTRALIA!".  "SOUTH AMERICA!".  "GREENLAND!". The sounds of the nations will be heard in the cry that comes from you.  You will birth the destiny of many foreign lands.  From your bowels of intercession shall come many children.

Anchorage!  Lift up the banners of prayer!  Lift up the banners of missions!  Lift up the heads of your children!  For they will be the ones that carry your prayers to the uttermost parts of the earth.  They will consummate all that you ever dreamed.  All that you have ever seen.  They will return with their sheaves, though you sowed in tears, you will now reap!  Prepare yourself!  Now you shall reap!  Now you shall see the hand of Your God.'
