DRAGON SLAYERS

Last night while some of us were praying, I saw a dragon in a vision that was lying on the ground. This dragon blended in with the ground. We were all walking right on top of him and did not even notice. As we continued to pray, he began to stir and raise his head. This dragon was stretched out "spread eagle," and its body covered the entire city. Its back was what we were building on, thinking it was solid ground. This dragon was gray/black in color. This dragon was the principality of RELIGION, TRADITION AND FEAR OF MAN.

This dragon is stirring from its place. Then the Lord reminded me of the image that an intercessor recently saw in the sky (Literally in the northern lights!) of the shape of a dismembered head! God is taking the head off of this beast and the sword He is using is our concerted prayers and intercessions! ('The word of God is quick and powerful, sharper then a two-edged sword...') OUR PRAYERS ARE PIERCING AND BREAKING THROUGH! It is a David anointing that does not fear the dragon, and goes out to meet the foe, not with conventional means, but in the NAME OF THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, ISAAC AND JACOB, THE GOD OF ISRAEL!

The weapons this dragon of religion will use will be fear and intimidation and false accusations that try to discourage God's army. Israel could have defeated the Philistines at any time, but they were afraid! They did not even need David! God was with them! But it took David to cast away the fear and trust in the Lord! Now it is a Davidic army of the saints that God is using. Your prayers, and the prayers of every believer in this hour is moving in intercession by the Holy Spirit, is taking the head off this dragon and causing COURAGE to enter into the hearts of God's army!

Others in the coming season will be like the returning spies in Joshua's day, that will be afraid and try to convince the army that there is no chance to defeat the "giants," that we are only mere "grasshoppers" in comparison to the enemy. But the Spirit of Joshua will prevail in this hour over the spirit of intimidation that attempts to make its way into the camp. We will have the attitude of Joshua, "Have not I commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; AND DO NOT BE AFRAID, NOR BE DISMAYED, FOR THE LORD YOUR GOD IS WITH YOU WHEREVER YOU GO!" (Joshua 1:9)

Once the head, or seat of authority that this dragon holds is removed, it will cause the army to rise up and chase the enemy and destroy every last stronghold of opposition to the Lord's Spirit! It will topple ancient "high places" that have ruled this land for centuries. The power of our intercession will upset the principalities and demonic thrones that have reined in tyranny and control. Many, like Saul, will have the scales of self-righteousness fall from their eyes and have the divine ability to see for the first time!

Like Saul, when everyone sang "Saul killed his thousands! And David his ten thousands!" There will be a jealousy and an envy we will have to guard our hearts against, not to be puffed up because of our victories, and like David, remain humble until the Lord sets His government or Kingdom into place in our cities and churches.

But we must never relent (look that word up!) in our prayers and intercessions for His liberty and Spirit to rule in our midst! We must be like David who RAN AT THE ENEMY and conquered! We have put our hands to the plough, and we can not look back! We have counted the cost and we must continue! God is with us!

This Dragon of religion also manifests himself in one other area, suicide. 1st Corinthians 15:56 says; "Now sin is the sting of death, and sin exercises its power upon the world through the abuse of the Law..." (Amplified). The abuse of the Law is religion. It brings DEATH! When religion gives up its death grip upon God's people and our cities, suicide will topple and fall! AND THEY WILL BE FREE! Religion produces death. Fear has torment. We must pursue this dragon in prayer until its head is removed and its power is destroyed. This generation hangs on the outcome of this battle.

DAVID RISE AND FIGHT! COME FROM THE FIELD AND ENGAGE THE ENEMY! NOT WITH THE ARMOR OR WISDOM OF MAN, BUT WITH THE STRATEGY OF THE LORD OF HOSTS! WITH THAT YOU WILL SLAY THE DRAGON AND THE ARMY OF GOD WILL SHOUT WITH A GREAT SHOUT OF VICTORY THAT WILL MAKE THE LAND TREMBLE AND THE ENEMIES OF THE LORD FLEE! THIS IS YOUR GREATEST HOUR OF VICTORY! THE HORSE AND RIDER WILL BE CAST INTO THE SEA! AS YOU CRY OUT TO ME, I WILL GIVE YOU THE VICTORY! AND THE DRAGON WILL GO DOWN IN DEFEAT! IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME!
