Word to Fairbanks, Alaska: To the Leaders of the Church

By Chad Taylor (10/17/99)

I hear the Lord saying, "I am longing for revival in this area, I am waiting for Peter to step from the boat so I can calm the storm. Until Peter steps from the boat I will not speak, or move in revival power. I need My church in this area to take radical steps, I said RADICAL steps in obeying me. My Peters, My Leaders, My Apostles, need to step from the boat and meet each other in the water. That's where they will find Me, in the water.

Who will step out? Who will take a risk? Who will trust Me in even the things they will lose? How long will My Spirit have to wait for you to step from the boat? Certainly your boat will sink in the storm unless you step out at My word and then I calm the waves and wind. 2nd Chronicles 7:14 is what I am saying. If you do this, THEN I will do that. It is time to be like them in Acts, "men that have hazarded their live for Christ sake." What will you risk for revival to truly touch your city? Will you leave your nets and boats like Peter and follow Me? Or will you hold on to the little you have and see it washed away?

COME! FOLLOW ME! STEP FROM THE BOAT OF YOUR TRADITION AND PLANS, AND MEET ME IN THE WATERS OF TESTING, AND YOU WILL SURELY CROSS OVER TO POSSESS THIS LAND. IT IS ALREADY YOURS, IT HAS BEEN ALLOTTED TO YOU! LIKE JOSHUA I AM SAYING TO YOU LEADERS OF FAIRBANKS, "AND JOSHUA SAID TO THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL, HOW LONG ARE YOU SLACK TO GO TO POSSESS THE LAND, WHICH THE LORD GOD OF YOUR FATHERS HATH GIVEN YOU?" (Joshua 18:3)

Now hear My instruction in this hour says the Lord:

Like Peter and John at the hour of prayer, My leaders must come together to pray. Not just with those that are at peace with you, but I am calling those that have not stood together before to come and stand in the temple of the Lord and seek Me for My deliverance in this hour. YOU MUST GIVE YOURSELVES TO CORPORATE PRAYER. And then, and only then will you be able to say, "silver and gold have I none, but what I have I give to you, RISE UP AND WALK."

Do not forget the poor. The widow. The orphan. Do not despise your own flesh. It is time to "cast your nets on the other side." To do things that you have never done, to go places you have never been. IT IS TIME FOR CHANGE.

It is time to open your doors and hearts to the youth. Not just a room in the basement, but your buildings, your pulpits, your hearts. If you will be foolish enough to follow the children in this hour, they will lead you into revival. Take the counsel of Joel 2:16 and you will see the latter rain. "Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts, let the Bridegroom go forth of His chamber, and the Bride out of Her closet." Let the youth have their place. Facilitate them, and My glory will come.

It is time to leave the closets of religion, religion will dress you, but it will never deliver you. You MUST STEP OUT OF THE BOAT! FAIRBANKS ALASKA, YOU MUST STEP OUT OF THE BOAT!

For I hear a sound of an abundance of rain. There is a cloud like the size of a man's hand. It is time to gird yourselves and run, for the rain of My power is about to fill your streets with a flood of My glory! Don't miss it Fairbanks! Step out of your boats, heed my instruction, and see if this and so much more does not come to pass.

"Thus says the Lord; Refrain your voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears, FOR YOUR WORK SHALL BE REWARDED, says the Lord. And they shall come again from the land of the enemy." (Jeremiah 31:16)
